Sealed and Notarized

on

In Whom also yourselves, because you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in which also as you believed, you were sealed by the promised Holy Spirit, Who is a down payment of our inheritance, salvation, for a redemption of the purchased possession in praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14 ONM)

A notary public is a public officer appointed by a state government. Their primary job is to help prevent fraud by witnessing the signing of documents and verifying their authenticity.

The Holy Spirit is the heavenly officer appointed by the Kingdom of God, Who, once we receive and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He is the witness, and His seal authenticates that our debt has been paid in full.  He is the One that verifies that there is no fraud, and we have been legally adopted and can now call our heavenly Father, Daddy For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!” (Romans 8:15 AMPC).  The Holy Spirit’s seal on our uncontested written will, guarantees us of sonship with God “The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God” (Romans 8:16 AMPC).  When our precious Savior died, He redeemed and purchased every promised  possession of our inheritance to share with Him of which had been lost.  When he wrote us back into the will, it was verified then sealed by the Holy Spirit “And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory” (Romans 8:17 AMPC).   Praise God we are Signed, Sealed, and Delivered!!
