The Whole Man Body Soul and Spirit

on

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power again unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. And as ye go, preach, saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils, freely ye have received, freely give (Matthew 10:1, 7-8).

Soul Restoration

As laborers in the Lord’s harvest, the days of pulling out our little books and doing our “repeat after me” are over. They are walking away in just as much bondage—as before you pulled out your little book—never to be seen again. How many people have we sent away before they had soul restoration from the meeting at the well?

Like I said, the cross is much, much more than that. I want people to know so badly that the cross is not limited to just going to heaven. The cross deals with the whole man: body, soul, and spirit. It’s even deeper than saving us from going to hell. It’s about restoration. Everything that was lost and cursed from the fall of man was nailed to that cross. All the authority Adam had on the earth—that he relinquished to the devil—was taken back by Jesus by the way of the cross.

We are commission by the Lord to preach total deliverance. Also, read Mark 3:14-15, Mark 16:15-19, and Luke 10:1,9. The work of the Lord is so awesome and powerful that He fully equips us to do it.

But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
