Do You Hear What I Hear?

on

“The fact is, God, the Master, does nothing  without first telling his prophets the whole story.” (Amos 3:7 MSG)

Sometimes there arises a need for Judge Judy Sheindlin to tell some her litigants to “put on your listening ears.”  With some of the responses she receives back, you can tell either they didn’t hear or didn’t want to understand what she had just stated.  We are in a season of our salvation walk where the Lord is soon to return and Christians need to do the same thing, “put on your listening ears.”

A lot of Christians are studious in the visual aides of the signs of the Lord’s return. They see wars and rumor of wars, nations against nations, kingdom against kingdom, and the continual anarchy going on. How many though are deaf from sleeping or napping while the voice of the prophet is speaking? “Besides all this, you know at what point of history we stand; so it is high time for you to rouse yourselves from sleep; for the final deliverance is nearer than when we first came to trust” (Romans 13:11 CJB).  God never ever changes He still speaks through His prophets before He does anything “For I AM the Lord! I do not change!” (Malachi 3:6b ONM). The Lord told us on Pentecost that in the last days when His Spirit was poured out sons and daughters will prophesy (Acts 2:17).  How many Christians have noticed how God has used the voice of the youth in the body to further His Kingdom? Are they being ignored because of being youth and you choose not to hear the oracles of God spoken from their mouth?  Wake up sleeping Zion (Amos 6:1), the voices of the prophets are crying out to the bride to get her ready for the soon coming of the Groom.

The Lord said that we wouldn’t know the day or the hour of His return but he let us know that we would know the season of His return.   Put on your spiritual listening ears the prophets are revealing it to us, but the only way you can know is if you hear what I hear.
