We live in a society of convenience. People no longer want to spend time running errands. They want a one stop shop. This behavior thrills stores like Walmart or Super K-Mart. They can run into either of these stores and get food, school supplies for the children, laundry detergent and household cleaners, batteries, and those new pair of jeans you need but don’t have time to go to the mall.
Do the body of Christ really understand they have awesome provisions in the presence of God? Are you entering His Glory and Presence every day to make sure that all your spiritual provisions don’t run out? Do we get so caught up making sure our natural lists of needs are checked off? Everything we need is provided by the Lord. In His presence is salvation, healing, restoration, financial needs, transformation of the mind, miracles, direction for your life, perfect fellowship with Him, every single provision is provided.
Unlike Walmart and the other stores, you don’t have to worry about supply and demand or get a raincheck, “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). In the richness of His Glory and Presence the Lord will always meet every need and demand from His never-ending supply.
