Squatter Rights

on

Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

The definition of a squatter is a person who settles on land or occupies property without title, right, or payment of rent.  Other words it would be an unwanted and uninvited quest.

Some Christians have allowed the devil to become an occupant in their dwelling.  The sad part is that most squatters start out being invited then won’t leave.  When Jesus died, and rose again from the grave, He gave us back the authority that was given away in the Garden of Eden.  And Jesus summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out, and to cure all kinds of disease and all kinds of weakness and infirmity” (Matthew 10:1).  The devil has no right in our home or space.  If he is a squatter in your home or space the door had to have been opened and he was invited in. The only available keys are the ones that Jesus took back from him.  We need to make sure we are submitted to God, which is the only way we can resist the enemy. The bible tells us not to give him any type of foothold (Ephesians 4:27), so are we giving him a position that is usable for advancement? Are we lacking signs to him of being a believer And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;” (Mark 16:17)?

The time has come to take the enemy by the collar, open the door, and kick that squatter out!  When it comes to kicking the devil out, there will never be a thirty- day requirement.  Do it now!

“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” (Luke 10:19)
