One and Only God

on

I stated in my last blog on my website of  a generation who are inept of the meaning of the pledge of allegiance.  Well I was proven correct when a young person being interviewed quoted “one nation under God”, as our nation being under one umbrella but having many gods.  I want to quote King Jehoshaphat’s prayer; “…O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? And rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the nations? And in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?”  (2 Chronicles 20:6).  After King Jehoshaphat prayed that prayer and the people praised the one and only God, the anarchy and riotous nations went into a state of confusion and began killing each other.

Come out of the state of confusion! There is only one TRUE God, the great I AM, Almighty, with many precious names, alive and sitting in His heavenly throne waiting for you to repent and come to Him.  This is the one and only God our pledge of allegiance is referencing, the One the author worshiped and gave glory to, not any other god.
